We operate the platform at probatum.foundation, a service owned and run by Developum AI Engine ("we," "us," or "our"). Probatum is the air-gapped AI workstation platform built for AmLaw and enterprise law firms — hardware architected, benchmarked, and installed on-premises by the founder. This Privacy Policy outlines what we collect from you while you interact with the site and the sales/site-visit process, how it's processed, and how we safeguard it. By using probatum.foundation, you consent to the data principles outlined here.
We prioritize minimal data collection. We collect:
Your inputs are used strictly to (a) qualify the engagement, (b) prepare the technical blueprint and quote, (c) build and ship your fleet, and (d) provide the annual software & support license you elected. We do not sell, license, or share your data with advertising entities. We do not train third-party models on your firm's information, your matter descriptions, your server-room diagrams, or your blueprint. Your work stays your work.
To operate probatum.foundation and process deposits & platform fees, we rely on these infrastructure providers:
Each provider has its own privacy practices; we use them in ways consistent with our commitments to you.
You retain full ownership of every input you share with us and every deliverable we prepare for you. If you wish to delete your record or withdraw from a pending engagement, email madbradsmith@gmail.com. We complete the data purge within 30 days, including blueprint files, quotes, and account metadata. Stripe billing history and executed contract records are retained only as required by financial-record and tax regulations.
All traffic to and from probatum.foundation is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Any password-protected buyer portals store passwords only as salted hashes — we cannot recover your password, only reset it. We employ defense-in-depth on our infrastructure, including process isolation, principle-of-least-privilege access controls, and encryption at rest for blueprint deliverables. The Probatum fleet itself is air-gapped: once installed in your building, it has no network path to us, no telemetry channel, and no update pipeline that isn't a physical USB stick you accept from a person you know.
Probatum is architected to align with the confidentiality standards your GC and outside counsel already live by: ABA Model Rule 1.6 (client confidentiality), GDPR and CCPA (data-subject rights and disclosures for site-side data), HIPAA-appropriate handling for firms with health-adjacent matters (on-premises processing means no Business Associate Agreement is required with Probatum), and a SOC 2 Type II audit engaged for the Probatum operating entity. Certification and audit status is disclosed on request under NDA.
probatum.foundation is not directed at users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact madbradsmith@gmail.com and we will purge the record promptly.
This Privacy Policy will evolve as our services and the regulatory landscape do. Material changes will be communicated to engaged buyers by email. Continued use of probatum.foundation after a change constitutes acceptance.
Questions, requests, or concerns about this policy go to madbradsmith@gmail.com.
