This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the guidelines for engaging Probatum — the site-visit process, the delivered fleet, the annual software & support license, and every other surface operated by Developum AI Engine. Probatum is built for law firms and enterprise legal departments handling privileged material. We require every buyer and every user inside a buyer's firm to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, respect for the confidentiality obligations of the profession, and respect for the physical and information security of the delivered fleet.
You may not use the Service, or permit any user within your firm to use the Service, to:
The Probatum fleet's security posture depends on your firm's physical custody of it. You agree to maintain reasonable physical-access controls to the server room housing the fleet, to limit administrator credentials to a defined set of firm personnel, and to notify Probatum promptly if the fleet is stolen, seized, or otherwise removed from the installed premises.
We reserve the right to review support requests, blueprint records, and license telemetry (which is generated only when the annual-license USB is inserted for updates) to investigate suspected policy violations. Where a violation is found, we may — depending on severity — issue a warning, restrict specific support surfaces, suspend the annual license, or permanently terminate the license without refund of the current term. Serious violations (sublicensing, reverse-engineering, air-gap breach affecting client confidentiality) result in immediate termination without warning. Hardware ownership is unaffected.
If you believe another user, another firm, or a Probatum service provider is violating this AUP, or you witness conduct that concerns you, report it to madbradsmith@gmail.com. We read every report, we follow up, and we keep reporter identities confidential where we can.
Security researchers who find vulnerabilities in the Probatum software, the update pipeline, or the hardware supply chain are encouraged to disclose them privately to madbradsmith@gmail.com. We commit to acknowledging within 72 hours and to credit researchers when a fix ships, with their permission.
This Acceptable Use Policy will evolve as new hardware generations, service surfaces, and threat models come online. Material changes will be communicated to active-license buyers by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
